The construction of a log house has unique particularities that we don’t find in other kind of construction:

It is ecologic and durable:
Wood is a renewable resource. We work with lumberjacks who don’t over cut the lots and verify the regeneration of the forest. The average living duration of a log or a square house is minimum 4 to 5 centuries. Some have more than 1000 years. Wood is lighter and imposes less constraint than steel and concrete. The conception of a log house allows also resisting to earthquakes than other kind of construction.
It is safe:
A log house has no dust, no particles, and no noxious chemical substance than we can find in much other modern construction. Massive wood is a living product which regulates the humidity in the air. It products no static electricity and has not the Faraday cage effect of the reinforced concrete. This kind of construction is ideal for the one who takes care of the environment and Health.

Perfect insulation:
Log houses are particularly adapted for cold regions thanks their isolating properties. Logs absorb heat and send it back by radiance to the heat source (interior in winter and exterior in summer). That’s why such a house is warm in the winter time and fresh in the summer time.
More comfortable and pleasant to live:
Thanks its aesthetic and beauty of the used materials, thanks the quality of the thermo regulation, the absence of pollutant. Living in a log house offers an excellent quality of life which is difficult, and even impossible to find in any other kind of construction.
